Sly Blue's style has been and always will be inspired by early jazz. The sounds of New Orleans, the energy of New York, and the presence of unforgettable singers like Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, and Louis Prima all contribute to the force that is Sly Blue. The group bridges the gap between old and new by playing classic tunes, arranging contemporary pop songs into the swing style, and writing original music. Their performance is like no other, and the band has audiences all over the world, both swing dancers and listeners in concert halls, screaming for more. Sly Blue also has the distinguished honor, among many, of being the only band to perform on the Bell Podium at the New York Stock Exchange.

Sly Blue, thank you for giving me one of (if not) the best nights of swing dancing in my three years as a Lindy hopper. Your music made me want to give 100% of everything I had to every follow I danced with, just as your band gave us everything you all had through your music.
